Welcome to our new look website

Thank you for your patience

We're SEW happy you're visiting

Do you have trouble finding time to work on all the projects you want to sew? Come and join us for the Sewing Sanctuary, three days of uninterrupted sewing bliss!

In this wonderfully indulgent three days of sewing, you can really get stuck in with your own unfinished projects, WIPs and UFO's, you know, the ones you put away for a rainy day and never had time to go back to!

Maybe you need some head space doing something you love to recharge your creative batteries?  Space to sew, space to breathe!

Perhaps you want help understanding how to tweak your patterns for a better fit? to relax in the knowledge that you have plenty of time, and the reassurance that expert guidance is available to help you complete a few of them

You can bring as many unfinished projects as you like, or start new ones!  It's your time so you can focus on whatever takes your fancy.  You can also use the time to do a spot of shopping in our Sew Me Something shop and Emporium.

Tea, coffee and cake will also be available in the studio to help yourself to whenever you fancy a break and lunch is included too.  Each day you can select something from the days menu in our lovely on site cafe, The Makers' Kitchen.

What to bring with you:

  • Any items of clothing you have made, where you are unhappy with the fit.  They can be finished garments or calico toiles, but please bring the patterns for those garments so that we can use them as a basis to correct any issues with the fit.

  • Any new sewing projects along with the fabric, paper pattern and instruction booklet.
