Do you dabble with a sewing machine but have a pile of unfinished projects that you simply never find the time to complete? If so, this is the perfect workshop for you, bring your UFO's and WIP's and lets get them finished!
This class is for confident beginners with knowledge of how to use a sewing machine, and for people that haven't used a sewing machine in a while but want to get back into it. (We have other intro workshops available for complete beginners, and also for more advance Dressmaking).
Come and join us for an evening of sewing with like minded individuals, bring your chosen projects and fabrics with you and make use of our wonderful sewing studio space complete with raised pattern cutting tables, Janome Sewing machines, Overlockers and other sewing tools and equipment.
You will essentially be working through your project by yourself but, our tutor Ann will be on hand to advise and guide you through anything you don't understand about the pattern you bring with you.
If you don't have an unfinished project you are very welcome to start a new one! Just bring your fabric and pattern with you (or purchase them from our shop) and enjoy the freedom of a space specifically designed for you to sew in. You are also welcome to bring your own sewing tools and equipment with you - but please do not bring your own sewing machines.
Important info:
This evening class is a regular Monday night event from 6pm - 9pm however we can only facilitate it if three or more people have booked to attend. If we do not have sufficient attendees to run the class, you will be notified the Monday before and transferred to the following weeks class - or one further out if you notify us of the preferred date.
